1. Have Passion (for fashion)

2. Have Knowledge of new trends and emerging labels (know your competition)

3. Know what sells and what customers want to wear…

4. Be Prepared to do what it takes and work your way up

5. Know how the fashion industry and retail industry works.

We have put a fashion course together from people's experiences as a successful fashion designer to help fashionistas like yourself get into the industry and start their careers..

Rather than spend years trying to put everything you've learned from the fashion industry- from trend search to product design- through to production...then getting your designs on the shop floor. Another day, another tattoo for heavily inked Justin Bieber - but this time his skin art may land him in some hot water.

On Wednesday, the 20-year-old once again went under the needle during a late night recording session adding his first large piece to his right arm.

Staying with his tattoo theme of adding random prices rather than co-ordinated art, the pop star had an image of a young girl reaching for a heart shape balloon as it drifts away.

Oscar Pistorius Bloody Photo Shown in Court

Police photos of Oscar Pistorius, taken shortly after he shot his girlfriend last year, were shown in court on Friday ... showing the former Olympic hero standing on his blood-stained prosthetic legs and wearing shorts covered in blood.Earlier this week, Pistorius vomited in court after a pathologist gave gruesome details about the injuries suffered by Pistorius' girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, when he shot her last Valentine's Day. Pistorius claims he shot Steenkamp by mistake, thinking she was an intruder. If convicted, he faces 25 years to life.

Olu Maintain says his most priced item is a customized diamond wristwatch which costs way over $60,000. He is crazy over wristwatches and didn't hide it while answering a reporter that asked him what is most prized item is;

"I have a diamond wristwatch I got for $20,000 in 2009 and another gold plated Rolex wristwatch I bought recently which gulped $26,000.

The diamond wristwatch is far ahead every other fashion item I have because the carat is quite heavy and the cheapest line of the watch you can get from the jeweller who customized mine presently costs about $60,000," he said.
